Zoey the Borador

Ok, so I know that I have to start blogging more and really practicing. I thought I could at least get into it by writing about baby Zoey. We picked her up from a Lab Rescue event almost 3 months ago. Although she was said to be a "black lab mix", we have decided that she looks a lot more like a Border Collie. Further internet investigation found this "designer breed" (aka mutt) to be a Borador. We think that she's around 7 months now and, with the help of cousin Chase in Tuscon, she lost her remaining baby teeth a few weeks ago. The cats aren't a big fan, but they seem to be standing up to her a bit better than the did with Oliver. Since she has Border Collie in her, she would like to herd them around the house and sometimes tries to do this to us by biting at our heels. We are enjoying her so much and love having a dog around the house again. Welcome to the family, Zoey!

Leggo my Eggo

Dear Waffle Poling,

I hear that you are a foot long now and shaped like an eggplant. That is pretty impressive - keep up the good work. Make sure that you aren't making mommy too sick, so that she can keep eating and you can keep growing. See you at Christmas!

Love,
Auntie

"The (insert life stage here)"

First it was The Knot - oh butterflies!
Then it was The Nest - the honeymoon is over ;)
Now it's The Bump - hurray for morning sickness

In your case, you get to have every type of sickness imaginable. Isn't it beautiful? ;) So I have been looking through The Bump, and based on how far along you are right now, your baby is about the size of a naval orange. Oh yum. What will they come up with next? The Golden Years. . .find out the best places to be cremated and more! Sheesh. Good luck with all this, sissy!
